On Thursday, 25 th July 2024, the Eco-Gozo Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning together with the University of Malta hosted a successful first local ReMED Project Committee Meeting in Gozo.
The University’s Faculty for the Built Environment is Project ReMED’s Lead Partner, and Eco-Gozo is a project partner.
ReMED: Towards Climate Resilient Mediterranean Cities, in an Interreg Euro-MED Project, with the objective of promoting climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention, while taking into account ecosystem-based approaches.
The project capitalises on the results of previous projects including the CESBA MED Project:
Sustainable MED Cities, (Common European Sustainable Building Assessment Method).
The potential development of affordable tools and overarching supporting frameworks were discussed during the committee meeting.
